Burning Desire isn’t very clear on the theme which it sports. It seems to be a combination of classic symbols, of poker cards and of images that one might connect with desire, which would include a red rose since it’s something you give to a girl. The slot machine was created by Microgaming, appears to have an older style design, and it will pay up to $30,000 if you get a combination of the right type on one of its 243 ways to win.

Betting & Jackpots

The slot’s ways to win are replaced with 25 lines when it comes to placing a bet. Each of those lines accepts 1 to 10 coins, and their denominations will go up to $1. You can spend between $0.01 and $10 per line, so the betting range will go from $0.25 to $250 per spin.

With a 3,000x payout on the line, the slot promises that you will get a jackpot of 30,000 coins, or up to $30,000 cash. It might not seem like a big amount, but it’s a decent number for a slot which sports ways to win.

The Gold Coin is the scatter which will bring you the free spins and cash prizes of up to 100x the bet. You might need only 2+ symbols to get a cash prize, but for the free spins you need at least 3. This feature has 15 free spins for you, and along the way you will find that all prizes are worth three times as much as they did in the base game. You can even retrigger free spins, as long as the 3+ scatters make another appearance.

With the Burning Desire symbol, you’re getting the one which has the ability to replace another symbol. It’s obviously a wild, and it will substitute for others whenever it’s positioned the right way to achieve something like that. The problem is that only the 2nd and 4th reels will get this feature. Wilds are not capable of replacing scatters.

The graphics of Burning Desire don’t show much of a sign that they’re at least attempting to look modern. The problem is not just with the design style, which looks dated, but also with many of its symbols, which belong in older slot machines. I’m talking about symbols with diamonds, 7s, golden bells or Bar icons, the red rose being the only one that’s rarely seen in games.

I’ve found it to be a very average game. I didn’t enjoy the design, the features are only average for this kind of slot machine, and the payouts look good, but there is nothing extraordinary about them.
