Bulls Eye is inspired by a game of darts, and it’s one of two slot machines which are called in a similar way, both from Microgaming. Bulls Eye is this one, and it’s a classic slot machine, while the other Microgaming title is called Bullseye and it involves a bull that’s playing darts. As a classic title, I doubt you will be too impressed with its design, but it does have a couple of good features. It’s a 3 reel slot machine, which has 1 line. Its top payouts will go up to $5,000.

Betting & Jackpots

You don’t get much of a choice when you’re deciding on the bet in Bulls Eye. You have up to 3 coins which you can use, but you can’t change their value, being always at $1. You can spend between $1 and $3 per spin, that’s the entire range with which you can work.

The slot’s prizes will give you more if you use all 3 coins, in which case you can take home up to 5,000 coins, with a fixed value of $5,000. With two coins, the prize is 2,000 coins, while one coin will pay 1,000 coins. There is a very clear advantage there, to using three coins when it comes to the jackpot value.

The game doesn’t do bad when it comes to the features, something that most slot machines will struggle with. There is a wild symbol for starters, represented by the darts player. The wilds substitute for all symbols, the bonus being the exception to that rule. You can form a combo out of wilds alone, and this will bring you the top jackpot.

While used as a wild, it applies a 2x multiplier when you have one of them on the line, or 4x when there are two that contribute to the combo.

The final feature is the bonus game, which triggers when the Darts Board is present on the 3rd reel somewhere. You also need to use 3 coins that round, to be able to take advantage of it.

The design is pretty normal for a slot machine with 3 reels, with the paytable and the game section being both present on the same screen. The symbols start with the Darts player, and continue with Bar, Two Bar and Three Bar symbols, followed by the cherry.

It’s a better than average classic slot machine, at least feature wise, offering bonus games, wilds and multipliers all in one place. The darts theme is also rare enough that it can also be a reason to play it.
