Oaklawn Racing and Gaming first opened its doors more than 100 years ago, in 1905. What started as a racetrack eventually expanded to the full-blown casino and horse racetrack it is now. Players will find a variety of gambling options to choose from at Oaklawn. To start off, they have dozens of reel games, many of which feature some of the newest titles. No matter whether you prefer the classic 3-reel action or want to play something that offers the possibility of more combinations, they have something for everyone in multiple denominations. Some games include Wheel of Fortune and Double Diamond Deluxe. If table games are your thing, you are sure to enjoy the electronic blackjack tables. Oaklawn offers the PokerPro tables as well, the best in electronic poker. Oaklawn holds live races in January through April, and simulcasts are also available. You can make wagers on the races straight from your seat at the racetrack using their iPhone app.
Oaklawn Racing and Gaming – Promotions
Like most casinos, Oaklawn Racing and Gaming offers gamblers a players card called the Winners Circle card. The more you play, the more it pays! For wagers on different games such as the poker table or slot machines, you earn comp points. The comp points can be redeemed for cash back, free food and eligibility for special games and prizes. On Tuesday nights, players can use their Winners Circle card to earn triple comp points! Some prizes players with the card will be eligible to win throughout the year include cars, boats and cash. In addition to the Winners Circle, Oaklawn offers some fun promotions throughout the month. For example, if you bring in a friend to the casino and that friend signs up for a Winners Circle card, you both receive $10 in free play. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, swipe your Winners Circle card and have the chance to win free playing cash if your machine is randomly selected.

Oaklawn Racing and Gaming – Review
Since Oaklawn Racing and Gaming is the only horse racetrack in Arkansas and just one of two casinos in the state, it is a popular destination for those over 21! Between the live horse racing during season and simulcasts and some of the latest in gaming, Oaklawn has a lot to offer. Even though it doesn’t have a lot of good dining options, there are a number of good restaurants close by, if visitors want to venture away from the casino grounds for a while.
