The action of Centre Court takes place on a tennis court, where the player gets a chance to see a couple of players at work. This is a Microgaming slot machine, which has rather bland graphics, plus a limited number of paylines. The theme is not very common though, few games being based on this sport. The game offers 5 reels, with 9 lines available on them. As for the top payout, it seems to go up to $2,500 only.
Betting & Jackpots
The wagers of Centre Court will go up to $22.50 for each spin. The line bets can have a value of $2.50, with a maximum of 10 coins being included on each one. The coin denomination starts at $0.01 and can go up to $0.25.
If we look only at the regular symbols, which form combinations, the slot will pay 1,000x the line bet, meaning 10,000 coins or $2,500 cash. The scatter symbol seems to offer more, with a reward which goes up to 500x the wager, meaning about $11,250.
The wild symbol arrives stacked on the reels of Centre Court. The game has this symbol in multiple positions if you’re lucky, being capable of taking over the entire reel. Since it is stacked, and it can form its own combinations, there is even a chance to get up to 9 top jackpot combinations formed in the same round, with just as many prizes. The top payout offered by five wilds is at 1,000x. Its image is that of the Gold Trophy.
The scatter symbol has the tennis ball as its image, and with two to five of these icons present, you will be rewarded with a prize of 2x to 500x the triggering wager. At the same time, with three or more Tennis Balls you will get access to a feature with 18 free spins and multipliers which can go up to 5x (picked at random each spin). The option to retrigger the free spins is there as well.
When it comes to the design, I’m far from impressed. The mix of tennis players and poker cards doesn’t work well in this case. Even the themed symbols are rather bad to look at, without enough details added to the drawings. A green background is used behind the reels. Overall, it feels like a very dated slot machine, which it is actually.
The only real reason to try out this game is if you’re a big fan of tennis, and you want a themed slot machine. Otherwise, it has too few paylines, it pays little and its design is below average as well.
